    I do not feel it is exceptional. But then again I have nothing to compare it to. It is what it is. I does what it does. It costs what it costs. I would like to make a statement. Some of the reviewers on YouTube are nothing more than sales people.if you are not careful you will wind up with stuff you do not need. I feel that the microphone that came with the AZDEN wireless microphone was just as good as the RODE microphone. There really was no need to "upgrade" I will say this about RODE I lost the wire that goes from the camera to the microphone. Even though it was my fault for loosing it RODE replaced it for free no questions asked shipping was free. I lost the same type of wire on the AZDEN could not get exact replacement as it is considered a "factory only part" Do you see any sense in ...

    Another Quality Rode Product

    Excellent sensitivity. Clear and accurate tone reproduction. I use it on a DSLR camera to narrate and on my iPhone to add commentary there too. I downloaded the Rode REC app from the Apple App Store. It is worth it. It's not Logic X but it's not intended to be. Some people think it is. Iv'e run it on my iPhone 6 Plus, very fine results. I have even tried it on an XLR full size board with the SC3 wire TRRS to TRS adapter and the VXLR to 3.5 mm adapter and found it to be a decent talk back mic. The little pouch is very handy and the clip-on is very well made. The wire is a little thin but thats probably by design. The mini foam wind sock cuts ambience down and the 3" velcro tab keeps it wound up nice and tangle-free. At just over 48"(4 FT) it's the perfect lenght for being able to record ...

    Excellent, but require App DESIGNED FOR PHONE\TABLET

    This is excellent quality mic, pretty cheap (compared to alternatives), and comes in full package. It can be used with iPhone, iPad, and, if you buy special cable - it can be also be plugged in your PC or MAC. Sound quality is far better than iPhone headset's mic, and MacBook internal mic. Can be used (in set with iPhone) instead of expensive Lavalier mic. One downside - is an app, which comes free with some functionality, and full version is paid. If you got an iPhone and need microphone to record speech - you should definitely buy this. Worth every penny.
