The item in the order was not an Orange Filter as the picture represented so I returned the item. I was subsequently contacted by the seller to let me know that they had an Orange Filter and they would send it to me rather that providing a refund if this was what I wanted. I accepted their offer. A few days later I received the Orange Filter. Great customer service to rectify a mistake on both sides. I will absolutely use this seller again.

Opted to pick up the lens in person, rather than wait for the (quick) shipping. Packaging not an issue: tested the lesn on site — excellent, as described. Good value. Excellent communications. Seller highly recommended.

  • Focus difficult - but lens is as advertised

I have the chipped version of this manual focus lens for a Canon EF mount on a full frame body. This allows focusing and metering information to be reported to the body, but focusing itself remains manual. Everything works as it should, however with such a short focal length, it’s quite difficult to put things in focus by sighting through the viewfinder and I’ve found that when I rotate the focus ring until the camera reports I’ve got focus that a good portion of the photos are out of focus. This is because I’ve turned the focus rig too far in the direction I was traveling when the camera reported the subject was in focus. I’ve had much better success when I rotate the focus ring backwards a very slight amount after hearing the camera reports the subject is in focus. The photos that ...
