    Great scanner at double the price...

    This scanner is great. So slim self fed. Just put the paper in and click scan and does a.great job effortlessly. Would pay double recommend 5 *****. It made filling for divorce really easy..

    Nice and compact.

    So far after completing 30+ scans the scanner has worked well. The resolution in grey scale mode is more than adequate for my purposes and there are various choices that can be made from the software to improve the resolution. The document feed is a bit touchy and the must be kept to the left of the scanner and most times multiple attempts have to be made for the scanner to position the document for processing. This is just a minor inconvenience and by no means detracts from the performance of the unit.

    Scanner fits my need for the price.

    I am not an expert with computers. I was able to install the software to my laptop and eventually get it working, but the quick start instructions need to be better. Didn't have time to read the 60 page instruction manual included with the software.

    Good Hardwar, Confusing Software

    The big plus is the top lifts off the scanner (it's hinged) so if something gets stuck in there, you can get it out. It was fatal to my last, now this will die another way. The software is confusing and I still can'f find it's setup information.

    Has too many options which makes it more complicated than previous scanners.

    I was looking for a scanner to mainly sort and file documents and retrieve them for editing and printing which this program does. But it has too many unnecessary options which I find just gets in the my way.
