    Appears to be OEM... good value.

    Appears to be OEM, heavy gauge steel housing. Very little restriction when blown through. Same matte finish as original filter. The only marking on old & new filters was a four digit code, so it's not so easy to definitively know for certain these aren't counterfeits (anyone can print a label that looks OEM).

    Honda ATF filter

    This is about a Honda Genuine OEM ATF filter (Part Number: 25430-PLR-003) for a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L with a 4 cylinder engine. When the filter arrived I took a closer look at it. It was interesting to find out that I could actually see through the “filter” and even pass a wire through the part. So I set out to cut it open and found that there was no filtering mechanism inside. This is neither a Honda OEM product nor a filter. It will not keep your automatic transmission fluid clean. Transmissions are high ticket items and those who make these filters and advertise them as genuine and OEM might be risking the end consumer thousands of dollars.
