    Portability and stowage.

    My wife and I travel quite a bit. She need the assistance of one crutch for long distance walking. The problem is when we board the plane I have a difficult time fitting it in the bin above. Sometimes it fits along side the window seat between the seat and the window bulkhead. Sometimes it won't fit so the flight attendant has to put it in the closet in back or up front, making it to retrieve it when we disembark. Now with this folding crutch...no problemo! Thanks Guys!     Good but for How long?

    A bit difficult to adjust. The rubber strings inside tubes get pinched when pulling through the long handle screws, how long will they last and how to replace? They make squealing noise when walking due to only one side of the dual small tubes hava the spring loaded stop button, there is friction in between, this will wear the aluminum.

    Wobbly crutches

    These crutches don't feel sturdy at all, as they wobble in the place where they fold. Also the hand grips, while having finger grooves, have very little padding. Took the feet off my pair and put them on the mismatched pair of regular crutches I have. So the feet of these crutches are now the only thing I use from this poor purchase.

    Carex Folding Crutches

    These crutches are of good quality and I see no reason why they won't last for many years. I like how the hand grips are shaped to be more comfortable, with palm swells and finger grooves. The topmost portion that fits under the arm pits have a comfortable feel alrhough you should probably refrain from resting your weight on the top of the crutches. The folding feature is possible through bungie-like cords that attach inside of both verticle tubes of each half of the crutch. That's why you do not see any hinges.

    Carex Crutches

    The only good thing about these is that they fold away. Pretty flimsy build. I bought these because my old ones were pretty creaky and loud. These are even creakier brand new. I would not buy if I had known thus.
