I’m comparing it to an authentic Jansport one I have and, while somewhat similar, it is totally lacking the superior quality. The thickness of the bottom is not as thick, the zippers are not heavy duty, the fabric is floppy and feels more plastic, the straps are basic and cheap feeling where the authentic ones (see pic) are contoured and far more comfortable to wear. The material feels like cheap vinyl with an unnatural shine. The tag is poorly attached — it's only stitched on one side and hangs loosely. Compared to the authentic version I already own, this one is clearly different in quality and construction. There is no doubt this is a counterfeit item.
