    This is an excellent Dyson Vacuum Cleaner

    Received my new Dyson exactly as promised. It was relatively simple to assemble and came with wall anchors and screws for mounting the holder and charging cord. Required an overnight charge before it was useable for more than a couple of minutes. Now it is all charged up and working better than any other vacuum cleaner we own. I love the versatility and it picks up the finest debris and dirt. Love my new Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum. Recommend 100%.

    Pleased so far!

    Have had a Dyson V6 cordless for 7 years & still works great, but the battery doesn’t last very long. The newer Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners are way out of my budget. I’ve been eyeing the refurbished V8 models on eBay for months. Finally, took the plunge with this particular V8 because it came with all the accessory attachments I needed such as the crevice tool. A bit of a learning curve from the V6, but so far I love it. Mostly the handheld to pick up cat hair & small messes and it does exactly what I need it for.

    Wow! Wow! Wow!

    I have used various “stick vacuums” over the years and just expected them to perform at a lesser level than regular uprights. Well, now I know that expectation was due to the brands I purchased. This Dyson (my first) outperforms any and every vacuum cleaner I have ever owned…and it is pre-owned and used! Lesson learned..you really do get what you pay for!!

    Hooray for refurbished Dysons!

    I've owned this refurbished V8 for about a week and used it a number of times. It functions as I'd expect. I love all the different attachments and it works on high pile carpet (which my other Dyson upright vacuum struggles to clean). Because it's easily portable I take it to vacuum my car or my kitchen counters or anywhere that a regular sized vacuum would be awkward. I do feel like the large plastic mounting piece feels flimsy for what it's supposed to support, but I'm not going to mount my vacuum so I haven't really tested it.

    The vacuum is all there, and works really good, I have a v10 myself, so this v 8 is different for sure but will work fine in the rental house,and i am less worried it will be stolen. The head makes a rattle noise, and if it’s on max power it hoots. Like air blowing over a bottle. It empties the bin differently than the more expensive one, but it works fine for its application, I am pleased with the price. Also it was used as a demo, it looks good, slightly used but not dirty.
