Base board heater is good to maintain room temperature
These are good efficient heaters, they are not designed to provide instant heat, however, it will maintain a temperature in a room, as it will cycle on and off with out breaking the bank. While I didn't expect this to heat a large room I am rather disappointed in it's performance. It gives off nice heat if you are "real" close to it but failed in heating the surrounding area in close proximity to it. Maybe it would be acceptable if you have a very small room and keep the door closed.
