This ratchet has become my favorite and most used tool! I mostly work on cars and having a cordless battery powered ratchet has easily cut my time in at least half of without it. When I remove a bolt/nut, I’ll first break it loose with either a breaker bar or hand ratchet, if there’s multiples I’ll break them all loose, then come in with this ratchet and spin them all off. When I’m fastening them, I’ll usually hand tighten them first, so I don’t mess up the threads, was a tough lesson to learn, I’ll tell you that much! Then grab this ratchet and spin the rest of the way but not all the way, cuz I’ll use my torque wrench to tighten it up according to specs. You don’t realize how much time you spend spinning bolts on manually with a hand ratchet till you use one like this. Before this Hercules one, I had a Milwaukee, but I like this one much better bcuz it’s got a long neck that helps you get into spaces you’d normally be using four letter words at. I was at Harbor Freight one day and saw this beauty, wondered if she worked good as she looked. One of the workers said I’d have 90 days to find out and my eyes lit up and she’s never left me ever since. This is my one and only Hercules tool, I’m quite invested in Milwaukee but they didnt have a long neck gal at that time. They do now but those girls in red, they’ll cost a pretty penny, about 10,000 more pennies than this one, I’ve used theirs and cant seem to justify the higher cost, so I’m sticking with my old blue lady, least till she quits.
