This is Eddie at his best. It is before he start making all the money. This is when he really loved his job. WHen a person loves what they do, it shows naturally. When a project is just another project and paycheck, that shows as well. If you can remember, Eddie's recent movies have been rather garbage.
Copped the DVD hoping to re-live those great moments - only to find out that instead of having extra stuff - IT HAD LESS! Some of my favorite skits were missing. Anyway, picked this VHS version up and had it converted to DVD. I didn't buy it for the image quality...I bought it for the laughs.
The original VHS has the funniest sketches, including Kill the White People, that were cut from the new DVD.
i remember renting this in 1991!! watching James Brown as Annie!! Tyrone Green and his Regge band!! this is a classic that is out of print!! im so happy that i now own one !
This truly is Eddie Murphy at his best! From Mr. Robinson, Buckwheat, and Stevie Wonder to his James Brown impressions, he is a comic genious. I will watch this tape over and over again!
