One "arm" in the "screen" around the fan blade was broken, the fan TICKED loudly as the fan blades hit the one broken "arm". I simply removed that one broken "arm". Packaging did not hold the product safely, the small box with the fan was open when it arrived, and the fan was rattling around inside the exterior packaging. Not well packed! But the fan now works just fine without any ticking. The fan is exactly as advertised, quick shipping, great price. Just wish the packaging was better.
