For sale: Excellent condition, lightly used (2–3 hours per month) nearfield studio monitors, Focal Solo 6 (BE). Top-quality gear with a frequency range up to 40kHz. Selling due to lack of time—I've installed the same monitors in my car, which cost me even more, but at least I “have time” to use them there. They have always been kept in a smoke-free environment. Focal's AMAzing Solo6 BE Monitors!
These monitors are powerful, punchy, articulate and natural sounding, I tried the Focal Alpha 50's and as an entry level speaker that were darn good I stepped up to the Shape 50's was very impressed with the imaging and natural sound across the spectrum. Reading reviews for the Solo6 BE's inspired me to take the leap in budget and for the Solo6's....WOW! Amazing! Quantum leap from any other monitors! I have owned a couple of different pairs of Adams, I have some Genelecs, I had the Presonus R65's (which sounded great, but didn't image like the Solo6's) as well as owning home systems like B&W, Paradigm, Canton and Focal. The Solo6's let me hear everything! I've been using Steely Dan's Aja album to reference speakers for 40 years. The Solo6's revealed things I never hear before! If the budget allows, don't hesitate!
