decent deal for the price and quality
This set of lure has good quality and the price is reasonable. Using this lure, I caught many 3~5 pounds rockfish. It's easy to cast them and they runs in water like real one. However, the shortcomming of this lure is its tail hook and you need to replace it before you go fishing. The tail hook is too small to deal with big fish, #4 hook is recommended to relace the tail hook. Before I replaced the hook, I missed at least five big rockfish. After replacemnet, all the rock fish landed without any problem. Another shortcomming is the split ring, which is not solid enough. Sometimes the ring plus hook will get lost when fish give a bite. You can bought split rings(100 pk) from other ebayer to replace the original one. This set of lure has good quality and the price is reasonable. Using this lure, I caught many 3~5 pounds rockfish. Original Traps at a great price
These are great quality original Bill lewis rattle traps........ Due to age there is some fading to the paint, but that just makes them better........... I change out all factory hooks on my crankbaits and I would suggest that with these...... The result is a the perfect faded bait.......... at an extremely affordable price... I just keep buying them....!!!

These lures shine beyond their chrome finish.
Ok, let me tell you about a scenario that happened to me 8 days ago. We were on a vast flat in the Indian River in Fort Pierce, Florida. The ladyfish were visible as they broke the surface water as they fed. I put on one of these lures and cast it out. WHAM. I was on. 90 minutes later they were still slamming these chrome babies. As part of my learning as much as possible, i tried another lure made by Bass Pro which had similar traits to these right down to the finish. I still caught fish but not nearly at the same fever pitch as before. So after switching back to my original rattle trap....it was 3 casts and 3 fish landed.
