Alrhough there are some lower priced options, I didn't want to be dissapointed by getting a less bright bulb. I compared these to original 1157s (a bulb in one and LED in the other) there was a clear and distinct increase in brightness of the LED over stock Brake light. Also by reading package i see these have a lifetime warranty if you care to do the online registration. Also current draw is about one tenth of standard bulbs, in case you want to leave parking or hazard flashers on for a le gth of time. These will flash about twice as fast as normal blinkers unless you change flasher module to an LED rated type. (About$10 for those) Good product. Will increase safety.

Used these for my 1970's classic car. Was worried about Hyper flash etc. but took a leap of faith that for brake lights that are either running lights (5W) or brake lights (21W) I would have no issues and I was right. They worked great and are brighter than my traditional bulbs and the hope now is I never have to worry about a brake light failing again. I also love the idea that at 60 MPH the theory is the driver behind you has 18' more warning in terms of stopping distance over convention bulbs to light up, something you can easily see in a slow motion video comparing old lamps to LED. I shot my own video to see it but there are plenty on the internet too. So impressed with the brake lights I may buy a new LED friendly flasher for my car to change all my directional lights to LED too ! !Read full review

Put in a classic car to increase visibility. It works great. I would recommend this simple upgrade for older cars to improve safety. I have only put in the rear for now and the old flasher modules works. If you put on front and rear, you will likely need to upgrade the flasher module.

I've used quite a few "no name" lights with a high probability of being short lived. I've installed the Sylvania where I can in 3 cars so far with never an issue.

Very nice and bright red LEDs for my Hyundai Santa Fe tail lights and brake lights. I did have to pry up the two small metal connectors in the oem socket for a better bulb fit without flickering. Much better than cheaper Chinese ones I had that could barely be seen in bright sunshine.

Switching from conventional bulb to this LED type is the best worry-free investment for your car. The LED should last longer than the life of most cars. You don't have to worry about bulb issue.

Had OEM bulb on my Harley Davidson that was ok, but not as bright as Id like. Im satisfied with the result. After research, this LED bulb is better than OEM bulbs or other more expensive LEDs. Additionally does not require a load equalizer (more $ to spend) that has to be installed. Just plug & play. If your one of those types that's not easily satisfied, than go buy a full LED tail lamp assembly for over &150. Im now converting my turn signals over to Zevos.

My old bagger's brake lights had a lot of lag time between the upper and lower lights. I replaced them all with ZEVOs. Now they're all timed together and come on instantly. It doesn't hurt that they're a lot brighter either. I left my front directional lights stock halogens to avoid the dreaded hyperflash. No regrets.

Twice the light output with these bulbs and half the power draw. It’s a win/win but, yep there’s a but... you need to make sure whatever light housing your installing them into has a reflector. The LED’s point backwards and work with the reflector only. By far the brightest I’ve ever seen.

Used these in place of 1157 bulbs..these are just as bright as a 1157 running light but 20..30% brighter than 1157bulb when brake is applied.
