Great microphone, well worth the money !
i use the Rode Podmic for amateur radio and have it connected through a preamp to my Icom 7300 and everyone says I have superb transmit audio. The mic is heavy being a little over 2 pounds but I needed a heavy mic for the broadcast boom arm I use it with. This thing is built like a tank and I think you could run over it with a truck and not hurt it ! Very good quality, it's is a professional grade microphone. i use the Rode Podmic for amateur radio and have it connected through a preamp to my Icom 7300 and everyone says I have superb transmit audio. Great Mic For The $$$$
I purchased this mic due to great reviews. I use it with my rodecaster pro. Unfortunately I am having trouble getting that great sound. I would recommend this mic for only beginners and budget friendly lookers. For the seasoned users spend the money on legendary mics like the sm7b.
