This is the LIVE DVD video-version of Jerry Seinfeld's classic LIVE comedy CD. It's Jerry at his best in front of a very responsive theatre audience. If you like Seinfeld's tv series, this is a must-have. If you don't have a chance to see his LIVE show - which is often cost-prohibitive and quickly sells out - this DVD is the next best thing. The cinematography is excellent and you'll enjoy dozens of great laughs. I've played his CD many times for different people and his comical observations have withstood the test of time. You wont find yourself rolling on the floor laughing, but may find it entertaining enough to keep you in your seat for 75 minutes. *~*~Not Hilarious, but somewhat funny. Some of it was just stale humor.~*~* Do we recommend it? Maybe if you're a fan of Seinfeld StandUp, but it doesnt compare to his television series. One of the true kings of comedy
This is a great show, and absolutely hilarious. I'm young enough that I came to know Jerry Seinfeld through his TV show and never saw any of his stand-up other than what the played on the sit-com. This was really a heck of a good time, and pretty clean compared to most comedy around today. He's just a funny guy--I don't think he can help it--and he is a great performer/entertainer!
