Yamaha, in my opinion, has always made quality products when it comes to home entertainment. I picked ' NO ' for Quality, since I have not had it long enough to really make an honest opinion on the quality of the unit. To me quality is no problems, no issues, no recalls, always work perfectly, everything works, and so far, for a few weeks that I have had it, it does pass most of those areas, but I have not checked or used all the options available. So it is far too early for an honest opinion that the entire unit works as good as new, or meets my standards of quality.

My old receiver was hit by lightning . This used receiver is identical to the one I lost to lightning It made reconnecting the 15 wires easy. It works as expected.

Replaced my much newer Yamaha receiver with this beauty. I prefer the tone/loudness control knobs to the myriad pre-set filters. For a traditional, vintage stereo set up (not home theater or surround sound environments) it’s clearly superior to the two-channel setting on newer receiver models.
