This is a great Alexa enabled Smoke & CO detector/alarm. If you can get it for under $200 you are getting a pretty good deal. The design and construction is excellent. Once set up, it not only detects smoke and CO, but it can serve an an additional Amazon Echo device, expanding the range of Alexa in your household. Install & set up was fairly easy, especially if your previous smoke detector was made by First Alert. At the time of this review, Amazon Echo synchronized multi-speaker playback feature is not currently available, however, is expected in a future firmware update. I am very happy with this purchase.

The product is easy to set up. It links with your Alexia devices so you can play music or ask questions. We have 3, one on each floor. At night the light acts like a nightlight. The device speaks to the other “detectors” in the house and if there is a problem the device lets you know where and what. It’s also a little more stylish than regular detectors. We’ve had nothing but good experiences with ours.
