    Vintage price, but still desirable item.

    This model is no longer being manufactured and as a result these are getting harder to find any new ones, which is the cause for the increased prices several times the original list price due to its rarity. I purchased mine used and it had a defect, because someone had an unqualified person remove the inside module and reassembled incorrectly so as to jam up the buttons so only the time worked. Because it was rare, I had it reassembled correctly to get all functions working correctly and now very pleased with this item. Therefore, I recommend only qualified persons remove the inside module because complications can damage buttons on reassembly if not done correctly. I read on a forum that some places refuse to change the batteries in this model instead referring folks to send them to ...

    The best Wrist Watch model Casio ever made

    This is the fifth time I own the same kind, the last one I found only in black polymer material but it has the same functions. As soon as I found the metal kind I decided to get it as well (though is more expensive) since it looks more elegant, and I will use for special events (formal events). I love having all the build in functions and the order (scrolling) between the functions in intuitive. I specially enjoy the 24h world time feature that shows the time all over the globe without having to calculate it. It helps me at work when I have to call worldwide. I owned the newer model of Casio Data Bank but it wasn't so easy to use the world time function, it wasn't intuitive at all (in my own view Casio went backwards) therefore when I found the good 'n old model, it was ...

    Nice Watch & Band

    I have similar (better) watch that had a broken band. I saw from the picture on-line that this watch had the exact same band that I couldn't find elsewhere. The band fits perfectly and now I have a spare watch if I need one in the future.

    Love this watch

    This is a great watch. This is my third one. Unfortunately Casio no longer sells this version. It stores many phone numbers and dates. I travel internationally twice a year and the time zone feature with the daylight savings button is indispensable. I often use the timer feature. The calculator comes in handy when figuring out gas mileage.

    Casio Databank DBC1500

    This is my fourth one of these in (about) 20 years. I’ve always owned one because I’m forgetful, and it has a schedule feature to remind me of things I ought to do. Cell phones have the same feature, but I don’t always carry my phone at work or elsewhere. The watches I’ve owned last four to five years, and stop working when you can no longer effectively enter data into them. If you’re technically inclined, installing a new battery shouldn’t be a problem—if you’re not then you have to take it or ship it somewhere to have that done. The design should probably be updated, but I can’t imagine not having one of these on my arm.
