Pro wrestling fans relive glory days in WWE Legends of WrestleMania. The game's main "WrestleMania Tour" mode play through memorable moments from the league's history, featuring recreations of famous venues and TV clips from the era. More than 40 prominent pro wrestling personalities of the 1980s and 1990s are available for play, including Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Ted DiBiase, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, and The Ultimate Warrior. The Create-a-Legend feature allows players to custom design their own wrestler, with a choice of costumes, moves, and arena entrance routines. Managers also play prominent roles, interfering from the corner and even joining in the fight, especially when it moves outside the ropes.<br><br>Unlike the earlier Legends of Wrestling games, which were handled by the now-defunct Acclaim Entertainment, WWE Legends of WrestleMania was developed by the wrestling game experts at Yuke's and published by THQ, the same team behind the long-running WWE (and previously WWF) SmackDown and Raw games. Compared to the annually updated challenges of the contemporary Smackdown Vs. Raw series, Legends of WrestleMania is a showy, accessible, easy-to-play game, in theme with the larger-than-life matches and colorful broadcast coverage of the 1980s and 1990s. The game's March, 2009 release coincides with the real-life WrestleMania XXV event.

    This is the game you want if you are a classic fan. Watch wwe for classic content say your prayers and take your vitamins this is it!! Why waste $60 on 2k games that's roster will be obsolete in a couple years. Play the best 40 legends with linkable expansion via smackdown vs raw 2009 game save. Create a legend defining moments!

    Blast from a wrestling past

    The gameplay is great and controls very well and I like how they use real video footage to lead into the matches.Objectives give lots of replay value. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are spot on announcing. The audience while not looking very realistic reacts with the action in the ring. I think they could have a done a better job with the wrestler's likenesses and I didn't like that they didn't actually use the real arenas ,all they do is change the signs and the graphics a little but that's a minor complaint. All in all it's a fun game that should keep you occupied as I for one have enjoyed playing as different wrestlers

    Legends of wrestle mania

    For anyone who grew up in the golden age of wrestling, this is ur game! It's not as complex as the other wrestling games. Could have a few more legends from wrestle mania, but it's still nostalgic...worth the price, to have some fun...
