The manufacturer counts the flap as part of the advertised height, which is very misleading. But the seller couldn't have know that and, I'm sure, listed it according to the packaging. The item also feels very cheap and not at all durable. Cannot recommend this item, but the seller is did everything right as far their part goes. A+++++
