    No Better 800 Grit waterstone--clearly among the best!

    Excellent lowest grit "sharpening" stone for truly dull blades, with 1000 being the regular maintenance starting stone. I use the same series and brand through 3000.

    Probley best all arounder , durable, dense splash and go that will last you years and make your life easier

    These are wonderful stones, very dense and durable stones with amazing feeling and feedback , I have the 400 and the 800 Chosera models, of various stones i have i use these two the most. Everyone i have shared experiences with , agree the scratch pattern for the 800 is very similar to other brands 1K stones. The extra cutting speed with the 800 models is wonderful , great balance of cutting vs nice scratch pattern. I recommend the 400 and 800 Chosera/Professional models the most for anyone that asks me. I've noticed online people question the price tag for these, genuinely really not that bad considering they will last a VERY long time, many years even with regular use. One of my favorite under rated features is the super easy cleanup , removing buildup with almost no effort , wiping ...

    The best 800grit available

    This is a fast sharpening, slow wearing stone with a great feel when using. There is a reason Naniwa Chosera's are mentioned frequently throughout the knife collecting and knife sharpening people through out the world

    great whetstone easy to clean will last forever

    If your knifes edge isn't damaged you can sharpen and finish strop with this stone. If you want to polish your edge you would need a finer grit

    An excellent whetstone!

    This is my go-to stone when sharpening my knives. Great tactile feedback and quickly creates a burr. Nothing negative to say about it, but can be a bit pricey depending on your budget.
