The Kinks were/are one of the greatest British Pop/ Rock bands of all time; and, yes, one of the greatest Pop/ Rock bands ever, from anyplace. They are as good as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. This album is one of their 60's classics. With songs like 'Death Of A Clown', 'Harry Rag', and 'Waterloo Sunset', how can you lose? Ha, ha, you can't! And this isn't even their best album: but it's great. God Save The Kinks and Long Live The Rock!

When I was watching a YouTube video about tea culture worldwide, the intro song I heard was "Afternoon Tea." After searching through the search results, I found the band and the album title associated with the song. So I went ahead and bought the album myself, I'm glad I did. The selection of songs are a blast from the past, which are half a century apart from the music we listened to today. And that is something worth listening to. Now I can enjoy my cup of afternoon tea - and listen to it at the same time.

I cannot recall if it was still sealed or not, but in any case the CD was flawless. I forgot how good this was. I already own the album in Vinyl, but it was nice to get the CD version.

Rolling Stone magazine top 500 album. British group that gets over looked due to the Beatles and Stones. A solid album. Hard to find at a good price.
