I'll start with the fact that the shipment got caught up in customs due to being over the $2500 max IRS limit without filling in a import tax information form. Otherwise this would have arrived about a week earlier which worked out since I had to be out of town. The brand new packaging was heavily protected by an over box with corner protectors etc. See photos. The seller definitely deserves high praise for timeliness, price, and sheer attention to detail.
