About this product

Product Information

The first dedicated bowling game on Wii draws its inspiration from Wii Sports, featuring full motion-based controls for throwing the ball. Three play options include Bowl Now, Practice Mode, and Tournament Mode. The latter supports up to eight characters as players alternate turns while competing for the highest score. A surfer, princess, drill sergeant, punk rocker, cowgirl, and jock are the eight oddball personalities included to play as or against. Gamers can also participate in bowling-themed versions of Space Invaders, pool, and soccer.

    AMF Bowling

Need regular characters and ball always goes to the left no matter what I do but still a fun game and the Elvis Character needs more things to say. . . . . . .

  • Bowling for Wii

This is a average game that will provide entertainment. There are part that can be a bit annoying (the charters voice comments) and it can also be a bit sensitive with the ball spin, but pretty responsive. When I used to bowl IRL the ball would track a certain way given my spin and release, its the same on the Wii. So it might not be the best for a young kid but some casual fun for some adults that can't get out and do the real thing. Not worth full retail price but find a deal on here and grab it up.

  • Better bowling came with your Wii - pass on this one

Pinbusters has poor characters, average graphics, average sound, poor gameplay, and wonky control mechanics. There is nothing unique or new or exceptional - so there is no up side. The bowling game on your Wii Sports disk that came with your new Wii is much better than this piece of "if you make it, they will buy it" crap. The pin action is no better in this game than the bowling game on your Wii Sports pack-in disk, in my opinion, the pin action is worse in this game. The sound is no better. Can not set up for lefties. Plays slower. The graphics are no better, just more human looking characters instead of the "Mii's". The controls are messed up. There may be a little more to the control in this game but since it does not actually work, it turns out to the worst game of the two BY ...

  • More realistic characters, colorful backgrounds

This game is more entertaining than Wii Sports Bowling, and it's nice to have a little variety. I'm not saying it's better, just more entertaining. It's just as easy to use as the Wii Sports Bowling. There are various cities/backgrounds that are really colorful and it spices things up a bit and it keeps things interesting. You can't use your Mii character, but there are several different characters, all with stero-typical (G-rated) ramblings to fit. The characters in this game look more like real people, with realistic curves, features, hair and clothes, compared to Mii's that look plain and boxy. The characters and the background music are both kinda lame though. If you mute the game and turn on your own music, it can be a lot better. Little kids might enjoy ...
