Awesome product! works very well on a used leather car seat I recently purchased from a salvage yard. Evidently the drivers door had been sold and the seat was exposed to the elements. The seat for its age was in decent condition except the leather was very dry from getting rained on for god knows how long. I followed the instructions and so far I am very pleased with the results. There are bumps on the back of the brackets where the support piece has been welded. They will not lie flat until you screw them in and may leave a small depression in the shelf and wall. Included hardware was fine but I purchased stronger anchors and pan head screws for a nicer finish. Otherwise a great light-duty bracket that worked well to make some bookshelves.
