One of the last usable AGP graphics cards out there. Eats up Windows 7.
It's 2014, and I'm still buying these graphics cards. I refurbish older PCs for fun and profit. I won't hesitate to buy a PNY 7600 GS whenever one pops up at a fair price. I own about half a dozen of them. The 7600 GS is one of the last consumer level AGP cards that was massed produced. Although, I've seen some 7600 GT cards from Asia offered on eBay that claim to be "brand new". I can't testify as to their quality. And, they usually want $60 bucks for them. The PNY 7600 GS AGP is a trusted board which supports Windows 7 Aero, DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL 2.0. It's not a power gamer card. Don't expect miracles. I've found it will run most FPS type games at a playable speed depending on your system and graphics settings. Be careful if you buy one with the old revision PCB. They have a problem ... They have a problem where the electrolytic capacitors over heat and then rupture over time. (you can replace them yourself if you know how to solder.) These boards can be identified by having two capacitors next to the GPU fan power plug. At some point, PNY fixed the capacitor issue by redesigning the power supply circuit. These new revision boards have a row of four capacitors and two inductors to the right of the GPU fan near the power connector.

Great solution to keeping an old machine humming along and working well. This is in a 2001 era dual xeon that runs DSP cards and only needs a graphical GUI for the user interface, the rest of what that machine does is is just provide power to the cards. This worked great at replacing a failing GPU for an aging AGP slot.

Excellent Card
The product was easy to install, MSN Update updated the latest drivers, everything has run smooth, computer increased in speed with the card doing more of the processing, Command and Conquer runs faster and the graphics is great. One problem, when I installed Norton Security, its drives will not allow me to run video, without Norton you can watch video with no problem.

AGP nVidia cards are becomming a dinosaur, and difficult to find at a reasonable price, PNY makes a superior product and will not leave you in a lurch as BFG has.... Great for older PC's, easy install and works well with older drivers. and will give you hours of game time, as well as a beautiful eyecandy experience
