Lots of good original recordings...
...but also lots of filler. Love Carly's voice and writing but this box set could have very easily been reduced to a substantial, two disc product. Having said this, it's still a good option for those wanting access to Carly's work.

Carly Simon at her best
Admittedly, I grew up in the Carly Simon age. Although, when I was younger, I listened to other artists. So, this is the first time I heard many of these songs. Her voice is dramatic, clear, and exciting. Her choice of cuts on this three album set are almost perfect. The songs range from the very upbeat ("Let the River Run") to those almost too hard to listen to ("What Should We Do With the Child"). Her rendition of "Danny Boy" is one of the best I've heard, even better than Charlotte Church. I have listened to the entire list of songs at least 10 times so far. In fact, when I choose musice to listen to while programming, I choose Carly at least 50% of the time. I can recommend this box set unreservedly. If you are of a certain age, or enjoy the folk singers of past decades, ... Admittedly, I grew up in the Carly Simon age. Although, when I was younger, I listened to other artists.
