    Great unit if you can get it for less than $150

    The InSinkErator 5/8 HP appears to be a discontinued model, but all that means is you can get a good deal on it. The form factor is about the same as the new 3/4 HP units, but it is not as quiet. Don't get me wrong this unit is still pretty quiet. Much quieter than the 1/2 HP Moen cheap one that the builders put in my new house. My wife couldn't stand the Moen. It was very loud and would wake up our baby, it also would spit up into her face when disposing. This unit is much better than the lower range Badger line from InSinkErator.

    Evolution Spacesaver

    This is one of the best units on the market for the price and much better than the smaller 1/2 Horse models and quieter too. They are not difficult to install and take up very little more space than the small ones, but better quality.
