Didn't ship in time, zero communication for a number of days until seller finally explained their phone was broken. They then said they shipped the item, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the package never arrived. Have received a refund from ebay, fortunately. Seller get your act together!!

Great sound, Stones at their prime

This is the Stones in their prime (yes, their prime was very long, but 1971 was great). The CD sounds great and provides the sound of the new, original pressing LP that you would pay an arm and a leg for it you could find it today (and then it would be too valuable to put a stylus on it!) PS - If you're expecting a zipper on those jeans, you're SOL. But would you really want such a gimmick on a little CD in a plastic case?

  • One of Stone's Best Albums

My favorite Stones album has been Exile On Main Street for a while. After listening to this one, I'm not so sure. That one is a great collection with every song being good, and with it's length, I still have to give Exile the slight edge. That being said, this is right up there with that album. The only difference is that this one has some of the Stone's best songs ever, including some that are ignored on their greatest hits collections. Sure this one has great standards like Brown Sugar and Wild Horses, but 2 songs that are usually ignored on best ofs are Can't You Hear Me Knocking and the underrated Bitch. Those two songs deserve the notoriety that goes with their best songs ever. Knocking is an excellent song through and through including a cool instrumental ...

  • Fast delivery, great price.

A wonderful digital transfer of this definitive Stones album, losing none of its punch and warmth. Spiky and dynamic, it sounds "live" and rich.

  • Stones at their peak

Without a doubt the Stones best album IMO. It has some of the Stones best known classics like Brown Sugar, Wild Horses, Bitch, Cantcha Hear me Knocking and Dead Flowers but what really makes it stand out is the lesser known gems like Moonlight Mile and I've Got the Blues. The only song I don't care for on this album is You gotta Move. Every other song is good to great. 9 out of 10 ain't bad!

  • ROCKIN' STONES

Everybody has heard something off of this one, still stands the test of time, Sister Morphine is probably the slowest tune on there,,& rightfully so. I gotta listen to it again...
