Product Information

This special gold edition was originally packaged as a bundle with a special Zelda series game released for this device. The handheld Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP itself comes with a special case design. This edition stands out with a gold chrome finish on both the outside and inside of the case. The back design features the Triforce logo, which has been used in a number of the Zelda games. This Game Boy Advance SP features a clam shell design encasing the body. The LCD screen measures 2.9 inches in length and features over 32,000 vibrant colors for bright gaming action. The front-lit LCD screen allows you to see clearly to play on a sunny day outdoors or inside in a dim room. The bottom half of the limited edition gold Game Boy Advance SP features a solid black D-Pad and input buttons to use while playing. Two additional trigger buttons have been placed on the top of the device for easy pressing while holding the system with two hands. Instead of relying on disposable batteries, the Advance SP includes a built-in battery that connects to a charger. A volume control is placed on the left side of the GBA SP. When headphones are not plugged in, you can enjoy active video-game sounds from the built-in speakers. This special edition GBA SP also comes packaged with "The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap." This title features classic Game Boy Advance SP action across multiple worlds and features rich in full-color graphics. The game takes players on an adventure as Link attempts to stop the evil world of the Minish. While playing as pint-sized Link, players can climb over plants, access hidden caves, and do battle with all types of monsters. Link's main weapon in the game is his signature sword that is used to attack enemies like giant dragons. There are also a number of puzzles to solve so that Link can collect prizes and get past specific levels.

Kinda disappointed... I'm primarily buying this to use Flipnote Studio on, meaning my hopes are that the screens are going to also be in excellent condition as described so I can draw and animate on them, yet I can feel some delay when using the bottom screen, and something is wrong with the right corner because I can't fully color in down there(pictured). The stylus is also very hard to get in and out. The system is fine otherwise., I guess.

This item is not in "excellent" condition as described. Given the age of the item, normal wear is to be expected. The item should not be listed as "excellent" to begin with due to the condition it's in; furthermore both screens are damaged visibly. There are very visible white streaks going across both screens, and the bottom screen is difficult to get a response from compared to an even older identical item. Bezel on bottom screen is also bent. SD card latch is loose. See pictures.

    A perfect console

    A great refurb that works perfectly! I made sure to test everything including the link cable port and everything works as intended. The unit I received had no visible wear, and the screen has 0 dead pixels. Each of the buttons seems to be replaced as well, and they all seem excellent! I played through all of Pokemon Ruby without issue although the cartridge slot did need some cleaning initially. I believe this was due to dust that gathered during shipping, but after a quick clean it had no further issues. Its a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality!

    Yeah it’s so worth the price I paid at the time and I do not regret it especially now that the price when tip for obvious reasons because that thing was mint, minty freaking fresh and it came with a charger and a random game.
