Product Information

The first commercial expansion for Gearbox Software's fast-paced first-person shooter/role-playing game hybrid adds new missions, game modes, and dangerous enemies. As in the original main game, players can choose one of four character archetypes, including the powerful berserker, the accurate hunter, the tricky siren, and the well-rounded soldier. As they gain experience, characters can be further specialized with a selection of custom upgrades, under an RPG-like development system. Single-player adventure is supported, but the game's main thrust remains on internet-connected, small-squad, multiplayer combat. The add-on pack features two new areas, both designed and presented in the futuristic, dystopian, tongue-in-cheek style of the original game. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned is a small-town, open-world environment where players can work together to fend off undead denizens using the firearms of their choice, many of which are available from conveniently located Jakobs Brand vending machines. Mad Moxxi's Underdome is a special arena where human-controlled characters can fight to the death for fame and treasure.

    Very good game- just gets boring after a while

    First things first- this is a fun game with a bit of replayability. Graphics, controls, and sound are all good. The game is fun to play for a while. The downside is that everything starts to kind of look the same- even from one area to the next, you're very aware that it's all the same giant garbage-world. Kind of like a huge scrapyard that is mostly brown. The game has more than a million guns. I'm not exaggerating- there's some sort of randomization system in place that picks and chooses parts and mashes them together before you get to see the gun. There are four characters to choose from, and they have different upgrade paths. Without buying the add-on content, you can't unlock everything on a single character, but you can purchase a re-spec.     Love it

    I love borderlands, especially after the Armory expansion which upped the level cap to 61. So buying this expansion just makes it that much more fun. It includes the Zombie Island expansion and Mad Moxxi's UnderDome Riot expansion. Zombie Island is my favorite because it adds new zombie characters and has waves of zombies to tear through. The UnderDome is like an arena, a very tough arena. You will need friends if you want to beat the UnderDome. All in all, worth the money and if you have friends who play the game but dont have the expansion I would suggest everyone pitching to get this because it can be used on multiple Xbox's.

    good add-on for Borderlands

    Haven't played Zombie Island yet (which I've read is fun) as we are still working our way through the main game, but the bank in Underdome is definitely worth visiting. You'll be surprised how quickly you accumulate stuff that you want to save for later, especially higher level items that you can't use yet. I wouldn't pay full price for Underdome though, so if you can get this disc for cheap then definitely get it.

    It's time to kick ass and chew...oops , wrong game! Aim for their heads!!!!

    Great add - on ,really fun shooting the zombies,jacobs cove has some great weapons,moxxi's underdome is ... well a riot!! I highly recommend this, gotta love it,especially all us Borderlands addicts.Zombie brains...too funny! Make sure your x-box 360 has memory space...this game is worth purchasing 250gb hard drive,or deleting old saves.
