    Just what I needed.

    My old speakers had been used for many years. Insignia is a good brand and I wanted an on/off switch which not all speakers have. I'm not real fussy about sound quality. bu these sound fine to me. Also did not want anything too large.

    computer speakers

    Most new flat screen TV's don't have good speakers because they are so thin, they put in very small speakers. One option is to use computer speakers like these and you plug in through the headphone input. These speakers worked great for that and the sound quality is much improved, plus they are small and you can lay them sideways so they look like a sound bar.
