    Unfortunately, the item was completely broken, although the listing advertised it as being in working condition. As disappointing as it is, I very much appreciate that the seller was a good sport about making things right. When I contacted the seller, they told me to file a return, and when I did, I was immediately refunded and I didn't have to go to the trouble of shipping the item back.     The features I like trump the minor annoyances, but I'm still out hunting..

    I bought this firstly because it's DivX certified and secondly because it's region free. I flatly refuse to buy a DivX player that is locked into one region. The pros: it functions well in both of these respects. As an added bonus, it also browses files from a USB flash drive, and if that isn't enough, it also allows you to rip MP3 files from CD to USB flash drive. It's light weight and fits nearly anywhere easily. So all-in-all, it's got a lot of good features going for it. The con's: after about 30 seconds of pausing a movie, it enters screen-saver mode, and after about 5 minutes, the unit powers down. After powering the it on again, you must manually find where you left off, and there is no way to adjust this feature. Only the most basic functions can be controlled with the front panel ...

    Great UpScaling DVD player at amazing price

    I really enjoy this DVD player so far. The picture and sound quality is great using the HDMI cable. The unit is not too bulky and appears elegant with my TV stand. Have not yet had the opportunity to use the available USB features but really like this option. Overall great purchase and would highly recommend!

    Samsung DVD player

    I needed a DvD player that would run well and could read partially scrapped dvd's. This player is great AND i can plug in my a USB drive and watch movies ive downloaded online. Its small and easy to use..you dont even need the remote which is great because i always seem to lose the remote. Awesome quality. Im very happy with the purchase.

    DVD happy customer

    I first got this model at costco a few months ago on a recommendation from a friend, really liked it, wanted a second one for the other TV, and thay disn't have any more. Really like the usb port, great for downloads and pictures. Plays dvd's great too. one we're using rca hook-up the other the hdmi, no problem with either.
