    Very underrated, substantial unit

    I now have two of these...one hooked to a yamaha rp-u100 system and Klipsch speakers which is fantastic and bought a second one for my bedroom harmon kardon mas-102 bookshelf system. Both are substantial, heavy duty units and can accept up to 70 watts and really flesh out a good sound system with range and depth with its own amp onboard and adjustable cut out for hz selection and volume. If everything Yamaha is like this, I am a huge fan. Both are used yet work perfectly and look good. The big dark unit on left is the sw45 in bedroom and the same gold unit on lower right on the yamaha system. first class for my $40 bottle of wine fidelity tastes. What? I can't tell the difference between a $40 bottle and a $500 bottle so stick with the $40 and under quality which to me is quite ...

    Great little unit

    I've appreciated Yamaha powered subwoofers for years and have the "big one" in our system in my wife's room at the nursing home. She's a former organist and it does a wonderful job on the peddle devisions. Though this is the smallest unit Yamaha makes, it forms an excellent foudation to a nice little portable system that lives in a swivel suitcase we can take to the lounge when it's not occupied. Glad I found it.

    Big sound small package

    This sub is a great addition to any system. I already have one in my outdoor patio along with Polk OS70. Sounds great. It's small enough to fit in tight spaces & with front controls easy to adjust. Plenty of low end from a small box.
