The head was a direct match... One of the threaded holes for the rocker arm assembly seemed to be a bit over sized and would not hold a bolt.. local machine shop retapped it to the next size thread... A big plus is the head gasket was much higher quality than the last one which is why I am replacing the head this time around... The head is on... I have not yet fired up the engine as the valves still need to be adjusted... The head came in a very sturdy wooden/metal box... The quality is there...
