Not worth the money, 3 out of 7 made it. I let the seller know but they downplayed it like it's normal.

From our discussion with the buyer, 5 of the eggs (out of 6 eggs ordered + 1 extra sent) made it to lockdown (3 hatched). I know it's really disappointing when some of the eggs don't hatch. Please understand that shipped eggs almost always have a lower hatch rate than eggs from your own flock and you should not expect every egg to hatch. The average hatch rate for shipped eggs (from any seller) is generally around 50% depending on handling during shipping and a lot of other factors.

Great communication! Eggs were packaged very carefully with an extra egg included as well. Excellent instructions and 2 have hatched so far. Only one started developing and didn’t make it. Highly recommend this seller. Thank you so much!! 😊

Out of my 6, only three were fertile. Currently have 3 in the incubator, with one lookin a little sus. 2 out of the 6 seem to be developing and are due to hatch this week. We paid a pretty penny for these babies, and I’m a bit sad that we only got three fertile ones. The packaging is a whole other thing, though. Very professional, very safely wrapped. I have successfully bought close to a hundred eggs this season, and these are 1 out of the 2 sets that seemed a little underwhelming:/

A hatching egg that fails to develop during incubation doesn't mean it was infertile - and this is especially true with shipped eggs. No matter how carefully we pack them, shipped eggs may experience rough handling during transit which can affect the viability of the eggs. We promise that the hatching eggs we ship are fertilized, very fresh, and are eggs that we would put in our own incubators.
