      Lenovo ThinkPad Ultra Docking Station 40AJ0135US

      Product is as described, and is of a better quality than an older version that I own for my Thnikpad X280. Ordered this docking station when by accident I tried another Thinkpad I recently purchased, a T14, to see if it fit, and was surprised that it worked. Now I can use either laptop on the two docking stations.

      Great features but overall design takes a step back from traditional Lenovo docking stations.

      Excellent value for Lenovo's ThinkPad docking station. New unit with all the ports you'd expect from an Ultra Dock. The only knock on this new design is that it is not as solid a connection as the old docking station with the connection made to the bottom of the laptop. This side connection via special port can easily come loose from even a minor jostle and it doesn't have that satisfying click when you mount the laptop, so a partial connection is possible where only one of two external monitor comes on. Once you get used to the new side sliding connection those problems tend to go away.

      Good, but not as stable or solid as prior generation of Levono ports.

      It is an OK dock, but not as sturdy as the prior docks that "latched" in the laptop on the bottom. The side latching mechanism is not as sturdy and it just doesn't feel as sound. Definitely could have connection issues. It is still a good port if it lasts for the long term.

      Great buy and necessary for the desktop laptop!

      Buying the refurb equipment saved a bunch of money and looked as good as new. Very low profile - takes up very little desk space and has a ton of connection options for monitors and other peripherals. Very happy with it.
