"Not impressed"
I am disappointed in this kit. While the detail of the resin is of high quality, the instructions are nearly worthless. It wasn't until I referred to pictures I took in the Army could I get parts in position, and not everyone has this information. As I was constructing the pack, I had to guess where to attach the transmission. There are no alignment pins or holes, and the point where the tranny and engine connect is completely misrepresented. (It's supposed to be a housing.) Further into the project, I found the engine block was about 1/8" to 3/16" too shallow. This creates several associated problems, but primarily it's inaccurate. I had already built the pack and was adding scratch-built details when I realized this. Rather than break apart all the superglued seams and add a thick shim, ... I am disappointed in this kit. This can be built into an accurate representation of the Continental V-12 and transmission (known as a pack) if the weaknesses are known in advance, or if accuracy is not a big deal. In my case, I didn't and it is. I didn't even bother with the engine bay and fuel cells.
