Seller added to Ebay's "Like New" book description with water damage, writing and dog eared pages but failed to mention in description or photos. I'm not leaving this feedback as a negative b/c of the price I bought it for at auction. See photos.

I am a student of Anthropology in pursuit of a PhD in the field. I originally purchased this book because I was taking a college class called “Rites of Passage” While my personal topic was not related to Natives of North America the title caught my eye. The authors cover the entire cycle from the womb to the grave and offer an informative explanation and insightful interpretation along the way. I found the book quite interesting and it had a number of details that I was totally unaware of. The photos were excellent and provided a real good look at the Native American lifestyle. I would recommend that anyone who has an interest in Native Americas, American History, Anthropology or who just wants to expand their mental horizons can benefit from reading this book.
