    Mostly Thumbs Up on Brackerton Cup Holder Cell Phone Mount

    Depending on the layout of your dash, not all cell phone holders will work. This one fits in the drink well tgat is just to the left of the steering wheel in my Honda Fit. I dont have to worry about it falling off the dashboard when the suction stops working! It adjusts so i can look at the phone easily without taking my eyes iff tge road. My only criticism is that i wish there were a mechanism to tighten its grip on the phone. Once the phone is in place there’s a button that you repeatedly press to loosen the grip and take the phone out. Wish that mechanism worked in the other direction to ensure a better grip.

    should have been great

    The product is a great tool BUT the small tails that are on the bottom,that hold the GPS in place BROKE after the 2nd use. This is NOT the sellers fault but there should be a better design. I have had several of these and I usually have to replace them after 1 years use.

    Need to rethink the placement of the pressure-release button, needs to be relocated

    The "wings" that provide the pressure to hold the phone in place on either side (right and left) are a little hard to release with the button on the bottom-right. It would have made better sense to put the button on the top-left or top-right. It would be much easier to access, and your hand would be placed naturally in front of the phone to prevent it from moving; especially if one has a spiral-shaped charging-cable that pulls on the phone a bit during release, causing one to have to use two hands to make certain the phone doesn't fall. Otherwise the product works as advertised, but because of the design-flaws mentioned above, I can only give it a 4-star rating.

    Easy to set up and use

    Mounts easily in your cup holder. It is secure and the height is not too high (if you have a manual transmission, and I do). Works well with both my Tomtom GPS and iPhone. Good value and better than the "vent mount" style that I had before.
