    This item looks great in my 1985 Mercedes 300TD! I did not know it did not come with any electronics connected to the USB jacks themselves, nor had any USB extension cords on them, but I gutted a 2-outlet cigarette lighter quick-charger, and hardwired it to the connectors, and to 12v tapped from behind the existing cigarette lighter elsewhere in the dash. Works as an awesome quick-charger now! THANKS!
