Nice high quality take-up reel. High quality plastic reels have thicker sides and often the tape rubs against them making noise, which is a pain when you are listening at low volume. These are solid but thin, and work perfectly.

It is possible that either the takeup or supply side reel table has shifted slightly, causing the rubbing. We see that a lot with the decks that we repair. There's an article on our reeltoreeltech.com website that shows how to adjust them.
