The game is a lot of fun. You're trapped in a spooky mansion and can't get out until solve a few "I Spy" scenarios and gain all of the puzzle pieces that reveal a riddle you have to dissect. Although, it seems that every time you complete a puzzle there's another twist that keeps you searching, leaving you a lot more time for some more searching fun. Each search puzzle gives you around ten things to find in an instance. Some of the items are easy to pick out but sometimes you'll be searching for a while to find something that was right in front of you the whole time. The game is goofy and generic but definitely has some creepy nuances thrown in to give it a spooky mansion feel (children's laughter sounds, sounds of people walking up and down stairs and some ghostly pictures on the walls). It's all cute creepy stuff though, nothing frightening. All in all you'll have a blast with your kids finding things in the puzzles but be sure to prepare yourself for the phrase "there it is!" to be shouted loudly in your ears multiple times. Also note, the skeleton on the cover is your guide throughout the spooky mansion. He is half the size of a full grown man, which makes me think it is the talking skeleton of a dead child... I wanted to compare this version to the old I Spy Spooky Mansion that was originally made for the pc, I will say it is very different from it. I liked the setting of the old pc game though this one gave the ability to go 3D and added more games to play which were fun. This is definitely a kid friendly game, no violence and it is fun for parents and children to try and I spy things together though only one controller is used at a time its fun for parents to watch. Although for very little kids it could be a bit difficult at times though it reads everything aloud and does help with learning. Overall a Great game for kids and something worth checking out.
I remeber playing the original pc game when i was younger and i had a blast!!! This game is a better version of the original pc game. A mischevious skeloton the size of an action figure traps you in his spooky mansion and you have to solve riddles and play minigames get out! This game is great for all ages!! I bought this game for my younger cousin and he had a blast. Even i like it even though I’m 17. In all i give it a 10/10 a great game to add to your wii collection👍

When I first got this game for Christmas when I was 9 years old, I originally thought it was going to be a complete rehash of the original PC game but I was blown away by its gameplay and its story. Spoiler Alert! The story is that you find yourself unfortunately trapped in a haunted manorowned by a mischievous skeleton the size of an action figure. In order to escape you must solve riddles scattered around the house. The first part of the story is to complete a puzzle which spells a message, and you must solve riddles to earn pieces. The second part is making a potion that shrinks you to the size of a mouse. The final part is fixing a machine that makes ghosts to teleport yourself out of the mansion. The game is really fun to play alone and in coop up to 4 players. I played this game for hours on end with my sister and my friends. I still admit, that I still play this game even though I’m now 20. In conclusion you should buy this game because it is a great one for all ages.Read full review

This is a fun game. People had complained that it was too short, but for me...I was ready for it to end by the second time around. What I liked about this game was that it was relaxing, and I found the puzzles moderately challenging. What I didn't like was the plate spinning, which was difficult when it was more than one plate--and I didn't like running all over the mansion after gathering whatever I needed to search for clues. By the time Skelly sent me back the third time, I was getting frustrated. For me, two times was enough--and I had wanted the game to end then.
