The best Italian Cookbook I ever had.
I originally bought a copy of this cookbook in 1977. We had used it so much that the pages were all falling out. My children grew up on the Classic Lasagna, and ask for it whenever they are home or when we go to visit. We also love the crab spaghetti with artichoke hearts. There are many other recipes that we love. It is Homestyle Italian cooking, not the Americanized type, and has everything from appetizers and salads to main dishes and deserts. We had finally misplaced some pages in all of our travels and dispaired that we would ever be able to replace it. We have been looking at every Italian cookbook that we found in used bookstores and new and weren't happy with any that we found. I was so happy to find our old tried and true on Ebay. Classic and amazing!
The absolute best italian cookbook ever! I was given this book as a wedding gift in 1983 and it was already used at that time. Amazing and classic recipes that should be kept forever. Ten years ago, I say a smaller version and ordered because mine was falling apart. I still have and use both even though the paper is so delicate because of use. You cannot go wrong with this collection
