About this product

Product Information

Set in feudal Japan, this action-adventure game follows the story of Kurenai, an unfortunate girl whose family is destroyed in a ruthless attack by an evil clan called Black Lizard. The cruel clan murders her father and then hangs Kurenai's young, battered body from a wire and leaves her to die. Kurenai is rescued by a more benevolent clan of warriors, however, and raised in their ranks to become a master of martial arts.<br><br>Kurenai specializes in the use of a weapon ironically fashioned from the very wire that the Black Lizard raiders intended to be her doom. The wire weapon can be equipped with different attachments that affect its speed, length, and damage. The vengeful kunoichi can make use of many other skills and devices as well, however, from acrobatics and stealth tactics to seduction and explosives. She is driven through the adventure by one desire -- to find the Black Lizard Clan and destroy it, avenging her father's death.

    Pretty good game.

    Red Ninja End Of Honor is a pretty good game. Of course it's not as good as the Tenchu games but this is a different game all it's own.

    Exactly what it wants to be, for better or for worse.

    Red Ninja: End of Honor was universally panned by reviewers for its sloppy controls, lackluster writing, and tacky character design. The game puts the player in control of Kurenai, an orphan who has been raised as a ninja and developed an affinity for the very weapon with which she was hanged from a tree. The dialogue is sometimes awkward, though no more than some localizations and better than many, the controls are tricky to get the hang of, but reward the player who spends the time to learn them, and the character designs, while not universally appealing, are still solid, and at very least appealing to look at. Most importantly, the game actually works, which is more than can be said for most games rated so severely, or indeed, most games released in the years hence. The movement and ...

    Better buy Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven instead

    This game is cool, it has a lot of great ninja moves. However, it does not measure up to Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven which is the 2nd in a Ninja series and the most versatile ninja game I have ever seen or played. Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven allows you so much more control and beauty as a ninja which red ninja is hard to control and does not let you get into the game like Tenchu does.

    A unique and very involved game

    Although I'm not a big ninja fan I loved this! It was a whole new gaming experiance. From seduction to decapitation, this game has EVERYTHING. Hide dead bodies, slice through enemies with multiple weapons, and sweet romance on the side. It has bit of everything for everyone. Not to mention amazing graphics and a great plot. This game is rated Mature for graphic violence.
