Make sure you set the AC input to 110VAC or 220VAC before you plug it in and try it!! I ran it set on 220 with 110 input. It actually worked up to a point. I didn't destory it at least!! It does seem that the constant voltage and constant current modes kind of wrestle against each other, probably depending on the load.
