Over time I bought four (4) of them for different computers. I use (2) them on Windows 7 and (2) on Windows XP Professional computers. This wireless adapter works flawless, as it should. Some words of caution and advise: Before buying, make sure your computer has the required "shorty" slot on the motherboard. Otherwise you will not be able to plug it in. I initially installed the full driver package, including the manager. The manager is very poorly to use. It is better to select the option "ONLY INSTALL DRIVER" and let windows handle the rest.Over time I bought four (4) of them for different computers. Exactly What I Needed
I installed this in a desktop that was connected to another desktop in another room via a crossover network cable. I now can get online with my laptop as well as my desktop in the same location. Very easy to set-up, and I am always receiving about 300 kbps - up to at least 25 ft away.If you don,t have a router; this will work just fine instead.
