These are of average thickness. I have heavier ones from another manufacturer. These will serve the purpose which is to support a cover on a 14ft alum rig. I've also had cheaper thinner ones that actually broke apart with a foot of snow on the cover. These are thicker than the cheap ones, but not the best out there. You get what you pay for is the axiom that applies here, but as I said, they are more than adequate for their intended use. To support a heavy cover with bows 7ft long, these would be stressed, especially in snow country.
