    WOW..IT IS UNREAL HOW MUCH TIME AND EFFORT IT TOOK TO MAKE THESES MOVIES SO REAL..THIS DVD SHOWS BEHIND-THE-SCENES FOOTAGE OF ALL THE MAKE-UP AND HOW REAL LIFE-LIKE THE KILLINGS APPEAR. PLUS TO SEE THE ACTORS/ACTRESSES NOW IS REALLY NEAT..SOME HAVE CHANGED AND SOME LOOK THE WAY THEY DID BACK 30 YEARS AGO..I REALIZE 30 YEARS IS CHANGE FOR EVERYONE BUT IS WAS FUN TO SEE THE ACTORS/ACTRESSES THEN AND NOW. AND TO GET TO SEE THE ACTUAL "JASON" CHARACTER(S) WAS ALSO INTERESTING. GREAT COLLECTABLE FOR THE FRIDAY THE 13TH MOVIE FANS EVERYWHERE. KNOW I'LL HAVE THIS FOR MY COLLECTION.

    if your into horror films like I am, then you need to add his name was jason to your collection, it is a great retro into the friday franchise, you have interviews from many of jasons victims as well as looks at the current condition of where the friday films were filmed. the only down side is I wish they could release some if not all friday films uncut, but sadly footage has been lost, but thats only a minor complaint about the friday franchise. the best part of his name was jason is the interviews with the many actors that played jason, plus a beef between the two actors that played jason in part two, which I didnt know about until I saw this doc, some way, shape or form, you must buy this movie, no friday collection is complete without it, and yes that means you must buy part 8 and 9 ...
